God is everywhere if you let yourself notice Him

God is everywhere if you let yourself notice Him

Out & About on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, the temp was perfect for outdoor evening Mass there won’t be many more left in 2021 as central Ohio gets cold quickly this time of year. Actually, I’m surprised it’s as nice as it is but I’m sure thankful for it. Kneeling down I got a better look at what I have noticed many times before which is the uniqueness of each stone. I picked a few up and said to my husband “I’m gonna ask Fr. Joe if I can have these” I didn’t want to just take them even though they are just small rocks laying on top of dirt they don’t belong to me I wanted them for this post and I didn’t have my camera on me at Mass, back to the rocks, They’re nothing, they are just rocks, but if you look at each one you’ll see that they are actually works of art made by God, even something as simple as a stone couldn’t just be simple it was just so amazing to me If a stone can be so unique and have such a design how unique are we what kind of time went into the creation of each human being a rock is just nothing it doesn’t move on its own, it can’t think, don’t sleep it can’t live and it can’t breathe,  it doesn’t do anything So why the detail, why the work? But we could also ask “Why the sacrifice, why the Cross & Crucifixion” I guess if I was asked that question I’d have to answer with “With God nothing is simple, nothing is without going the extra mile and as far as what it took to open the gates God never takes the easy way out of anything”, Something as simple as a rock can really get you thinking about how we are so much more, God is everywhere if you let yourself notice Him.
